Annual Report: Chinese New Year

Chinese New Year is probably one of my most favourite Festive Season ever! Everyone dress up and look good together.... Nevertheless this is the period of time whereby everyone gather and bond together! We collect red packets(ang pao), gamble with my witty uncle, visiting houses and eat delicious foods!

FIRST DAY OF CNY

Mommy and I

Bro and I

Dress: Dip Drops(one of the scarce japanese brands in Sg)
Socks: I digged it from a box I kept since primary school
Shoes: Topshop
Accessories: Forever21

Alot of pictures are still in my cousin's DSLR, I hearttttt this look as I always wanted to wear white socks with this kinda shoe. So glad that I receive positive comments and not people saying Im acting cute /phew

SECOND DAY

My cutest baby nephew, Jovi.

Niece Mitchel and I

Dress: ASOS
Socks: Tutunana (Shanghai, China)

Nuff said, socks is LOVE.

THIRD DAY

Dress: Zipia
Bag: Ralph Lauren

How could I miss Zipia for my CNY's clothes? I was looking for a pretty peter pan collar dress and this just came into the right time! So i click it without any hesistation. Big thanks to my cousins for the awesome photos and I love the second candid photo!!

FOURTH DAY

Top: H&M
Skirt: Far East Plaza

We went to the temple and was busy taking photos with chinese new year decorations... Therefore we forgotten to take proper photos!

FIFTH DAY

Top: Paul Frank
Shorts: Aeropostale
Shoes: Converse x Chuck Taylor (!!)

I got my kicks at Batam, Indonesia at a super great deal, SGD39! Its much lower than Singapore's retail price.. Will take a closer look of my shoe the next time! Love theeee design <3

SIXTH DAY

My classmate, Peck and I!
My best friend, Michelle... We're celebrating our 11th year of friendship ^-^

Loose white top: Topshop
Inner tanktop: Uniqlo
Jersey skirt: ASOS
Baby: Troy <3

First time tryin this style and unexpectedly received good comments! Yes, I received weird stares but I believe everyone has their own sense of individuality. Its up to you, wanting to show it out or just follow the crowd. As CNY has a total of 15 days, I can't wait to meet up with my family members and have fun again! :)

Just to share something I found at Facebook and I thought, every single word hits the bull eye.

How do you define originality?

CNY

CNY -- DAY1

Dress: Zipia
Bag: Topshop
Shoe: Topshop

I love this vintage dress to weeeee bits! Love the wonderful prints and the surprise bow behind to add on the 'vintage feel'.

CNY -- DAY2

Dress: Zipia
Shoes: Zipia
Bag: Editor's Market

I like how the shoes colour contrast with the rest of the items. Let's bring forward the use of colours NOW!

CNY -- DAY3

Top: Cheap monday
Skirt: Forever21
Bag: Editor's Market
Sneakers: DKNY Jeans

I'm back to my bun hairstyle with an oversized tee, bandaged look skirt and a sneakers (definitely not forgetting my aid of socks to give a finish for this look!)

CNY -- DAY4

Top: Far East (regretted much)
Bottom: Zara
Bag: Editor's Market
Shoes: Topshop

I'd love to dress this casual everyday, no tight tops, no tight bottoms, you can sit freely and not thinking whether you've shown your fleshy tummy or what so nots.

Side note: 3 things I want to get badly
1) Varsity Jacket! (Red or Navy, love the college look)
2) Suspender tights
3) Long, Sheer, Black Chiffon Cardigan

P:S Happy Chinese New Year!
